The Buddha Tour was great! Please note that the purpose of this tour is solely to see the statue and take pictures. Entering the monastery is only available on Sundays and is NOT a part of this tour. We had ample time to take pictures as well as to have a pastel and cane juice (I super recommend getting the pastel). Our tour left Vila Velha at 14:15, and we were able to see the sunset behind the mountains by the time we were headed back to the city. The tour guide interacted well with the group and pointed out things for us to see along the way to the statue. On top of that, she also offered to take pics for you if needs be. I would recommend this tour to anyone seeking to see the largest Buddha in the Occident!
